The News Centre previously this was in Jurong..Now Toa PayohWoke up early today and eat my chicken rice that my maid buy... then after that when online msn then jiarong msg me that he will be coming ard 1pm to fetch me there as he also wan to go for the seminar thingy. This marathon or so call marathon is tougher then any competition out there in Singapore, it is like survivor + singapore idol + amazing race = canon photo marathon. This is wad the speaker at today seminar says...=p. It requires a lot of patience, determintion, skill and creativity.
We reached there then sit there to listen to the guest speaker and also some experience photo journalist talking about his works, how he do this do that and also all the photo taking technique. From the way he says and describe it is not eay to take a photo even though you have the best camera in the world.
The photo journalist show us many photos, including some photos taken in Istanbu and Turkey. All the photos that he took are well taken and planned, the lighthings, shutter speed, angle, expressions and lots more are well taken care of. Every photo he took can be compare to National Geographic professional photography, coz the photos he took are publish in magzaines like 8-days and teenage.
Let's say u get a 10.1 MP digital cam from casio the result may be brilliant, but without the feeling and the creativity it is still not as good. However will feeling then you take the photo the result will be excellent. This is what the judges will be looking out for on the 14 Oct 2006 which is a sat morning, the marathon will start offf early at ard 0730 till 2230, approx 12 gruelling hours. Some ppl do fall out in the middle of the marathon due to exhausation and so on for the last few marathon. This canon marathon is running for the 4th time this year and has been quite successful the last few ones with a total participants of 600+.
After that go mac to eat some, coz very hungry after the seminar...no food or drink provided coz it is FREE!!
