Driving my dad Mercedes-Benz

Yesterday, went driving with my brother and sister, went quite a few places around 10pm, drive to Serangoon then to Thomson get roti-prata, first time driving my dad's car after getting my driving license early last month. The feel and everything is very different from the Toyota VIOS, as VIOS is a lot smaller and easier to driev compare to Mercs.

Before driving, need to familiar and orientate myself to the controls and everything, As Mercs is a german brand, some of the controls are in different position. After that adjust everything then get ready to move off. Initially quite nervous, as scare scratch the car haha. After move off some distance, I started to go faster and faster.

1st stop, is to a lau ren yuan at Serangoon, near Serangoon Gardens. Go to there still quite easy, though it is at night, still quite a lot of cars around. Becasue friday night mah, so still need to exercise caution. When I reached there I did a 2 point turn then wait for my brother while he deliver the cakes and breads from Prima Deli. it is some sort of voluntary work.

2nd stop, roti prata at Thomson Road, the roti prata house. When I was there, I did a parallel parking. After buying some rota pratas we make our way back.

Finally reached home, did a vertical parking with my brother guidance, Mercs not easy to park, due to the size. Even got rear beeper also will not help much. Dun believe you all can try it for yourself haha.

It is quite an experience driving my dad Mercs, I think I still need to drive 1-2 more times then can solo and go out to have supper liao. 1 bad thing about Mercs is the fuel consumption, it is definately a fuel thirsty machine. Not cheap especially the expensive fuel price nowadays. Need to spend at least $160-$180 to make it full tank.
